Before you tube any food into your puppy’s belly – please note that if your puppy has a bloated purple blue stomach, or your puppy has colic – you do not want to tube feed to much food or they will aspirate.

– No matter what liquids you are tube feeding your puppy, they need to be warmed up to the puppy’s body temperature. If you don’t do that, you are going to lower the puppy body temperature, causing them to expend more calories to warm themselves up. Body temperature for a puppy is 100 to 102 degrees Fahrenheit. So a little warmer than people or a human baby.
